Awesome program!!!

This app is really very helpful and amazing but one flaw that they could fix with an update is that it crashes when you open the app. Otherwise this is the best app I have seen on Bammes, Eaton & Houdon in classical anatomy. Keep up the great work!

Good App!! But...

It,s very good reference App! But Torso mode is something wrong. Black line center! Uv broken? or Texture? Fix it plz~~ and more update!

Amazing Digital Reference - Portable, Detailed... in a word... Awesome!

I really love this application. Like many artists, Ive wrestled with the finer points of anatomy. This application is a great reference tool that can be easily accessed even when you are on the road. I just started using it, but I can already tell that it will be a great tool as I continue to sculpt characters in Zbrush and Mudbox. Way to go guys... looking forward to the female version!

Love the App. Small anatomical issue.

The skeleton is missing a Lumbar Vertebrae. There are supposed to be five instead of four—7 Cervical vertebrae, 12 Thoracic, 5 Lumbar, Sacrum and coccyx. Apart from that small anatomical error, I think this is a beautiful app. Thank you

Very useful

I would give it five stars as it is very useful as a teaching aid for figure drawing and I have this sculpture in my classroom. I have a first generation IPad and it tends to crash when switching from view to view. If it was more stable I would give it the five stars.

WOW! ONLY $3.99 FOR THIS?

Why didnt anyone come up with this before I spent hundreds of dollars for anatomy books? I own about 20 anatomy books, and a figure that cost about $500 dollars, but this tops them all for value and visual reference. And its more portable than anything else I got.

Character Artist

Ever since seeing Scotts tutorial on Pixologics website Ive been wishing for something like this from him. The content is OUTSTANDING. Like having a lecture in your pocket! Rock solid and very intuitive to use. Love it!

Great and worthwhile, but not done yet!

This is a no-brainer for anyone looking to draw or understand e human form! A great set of anatomy models and good usability, but the goal of lécorché is to see how the muscles build on top of each other (or flay down), isnt it? If I could isolate individual muscles as I can isolate the skeleton (and see only, for example, the psoas major with all others rendered translucent) Id probably pay 10x more. And if I could see some more exotic poses with that feature, maybe 20x more. See if you guys can team up with the folks who made the Yoga Anatomy book! This is a five-star app, but those would be some features in what I conceive of as the interactive anatomy Holy Grail.

Very nice resource

This app is a great resource for the artist, however, I would really like to see the ability to control the level of transparency on the model when viewing the skeleton. The ability to view sections of the skeleton (head, torso, arm, etc...) would be nice as well.

Good app for what it is but

Good app if youre looking for a non pose able app. Was disappointed. Thought it was something that would be able to pose in positions you needed. 4.99 was to much to pay and want my money back.

Perfect

So helpful, great and useful! To the person before me: you clearly dont know what you are talking about. An ecorche is an ecorche. Expecting a poseable anatomy reference model is absurd.

My favorite app

I use this app more than any other. Thanks for bringing it to life. If you ever make a female version with Scott I will be first in line.

Brilliant app and what a steal!!!

This app is simply fantastic work! Its not just a great sculpt but also highlights all the muscles, shows the skeleton, includes areas of focus, and includes the names for EVERYTHING and is unusually ACCURATE. this is a powerful learning tool indeed! If anything could improve this, I say therere some weird smoothing issues where the artist made the cutaways, so fix that. Beyond that, nothing! Thanks for this AMAZING tool! Best app I know of!

The Best

You need to be careful when choosing tools to learn anatomy for art. Many medical apps/books/etc. display correct information, but the visual proportions are horrendously incorrect. Scott Eaton worked on the "Eaton" view for this app and you can be sure this model is extremely accurate. LEcorche is the best way to learn anatomy for figure drawing/sculpting and this is the app to buy for it.

Amazing app!

For what its supposed to do, its amazing. The model is accurate and a very good reference point for artists. The only that would make it better would be to make the muscles tappable so that they link to the written description. Having the info tab is helpful, but its completely removed from the model.

Great Ref!

A great balance between anatomy and simplification. Best deal on human anatomy reference, consider most physical models like those 15 to 20 in figures you might see in a life drawing class can easily reach +500$. Books from George Bridgman, David Rubin, or contemporaries like Steve Hampton are main stays but, a representation that you can articulate different angles is incredibly helpful.

Good app

It helps me a lot. I only hope it could include a female version in the future update.

Where are the wireframes?

This app was recommended to me by my CG department. This would be an otherwise killer informative app if there were an option to see edge flows/wireframes.

Excellent!

Exceeded my expectations- this is a must have.

Great anatomy app

Anyone creating characters or just wanting to learn more about anatomy should get this
